Oktion is designed to be simple for individuals and organisations to create events and raise funds. With an easy-to-follow process, organisers can set up and manage an entire event and add one or more of the following fundraising features: tickets, auctions, raffles and donations.

Organisers can choose to make their events public or private. Organisers can control who they would like to invite to a private event; and public events will be listed on the Oktion homepage, giving anyone the chance to participate in their cause. Organisers can take their event customisation even further by creating a white labelled website. This gives them an event page with their personal branding and all Oktion’s event management tool functionalities.

Organising an auction is simple but contributing is even simpler. The automated bidding process makes participating in auction events easy and fun for all event attendees. Oktion has made bidding automatic by calculating the minimum amount a user must bid to make a single bid. Users can even enter the maximum they would like to bid for an item and the app will automatically bid the minimum they need to win, until their maximum bid is reached. With the entire bidding process calculated for the user, participating in an auction event is literally a click away! Attendees can also support organisation in more ways than one, by inviting their friends to an auction event and making contributions.

The direct donation section offers a place where contributors an donate any amount they’d like to a cause.
