Raise More Funds in 2021

We have some exciting online fundraising features coming to Oktion what we can’t wait for you to experience. These new features are sure to help you promote your cause and generate more funds and awareness. Here’s a sneak peek at what you can expect!

Event-driven architecture

Guests can contribute to fundraising auctions and take part in raffle draws regardless of physical attendance. They can attend by receiving an invitation notification from the organiser, or by browsing the app for public events they can attend. Clicking on a public fundraising event would take the user to the event details page. To participate in the event, the user simply has to register for it. This would increase the your cause’s exposure, bring in new guests and donors, and help you raise more funds.

Direct donations

We found that most users want to be able to give money directly to a charity without needing to partake in an auction bid.  That’s why we have created a direct donation feature that allows guests to directly donate the sum they like to the charity, organisation or individual. Organisers can create a page where contributors can donate directly to your cause. Organisers can set fixed donation amounts or the user can enter the amount they’d like to donate.

Ticket selling

Ticket selling and management is an optional feature that can be added to any event in conjunction with any other fundraising feature. Tickets allow organisers to raise funds through admission. Organisers can create and sell multiple ticket types. You can now sell tickets, and manage the prices and numbers, completely by themselves rather than relying on a third party.

Event dashboard

Different users have different goals and results they would like to achieve from their event or raffle. The event dashboard gives organisers the capability to monitor the performance of every campaign/initiative they have created in Oktion (i.e., auctions, tickets, raffles, direct donations). On the event dashboard, the organiser can monitor the total amount raised, % of target amount, time remaining and the performance of added features.
